These terms govern your use of Formyx. By creating an account, you agree to them.
1. Who you are agreeing with
Formyx is operated by Ufuk Gökoğlan, an individual developer based in Türkiye.

2. You must be 18 or older
Formyx calculates calorie targets, sets weight-loss paces and builds training programs. These are not appropriate for children or adolescents without medical supervision, so the app is for adults only.
By using Formyx you confirm you are at least 18 years old. If we learn that an account belongs to someone younger, it will be closed.
3. Formyx is not medical advice
This is the most important section in this document.
Formyx is a tracking and planning tool. It is not a medical device, and nothing in it is medical, nutritional or clinical advice. The calorie targets, macronutrient splits, training programs, weight projections and any other number the app produces are estimates generated from formulas and from the information you enter. They are not a diagnosis, a prescription or a treatment plan.
Before you change how you eat or train, talk to a doctor or a qualified professional — especially if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, have or have had an eating disorder, have diabetes, heart disease, kidney disease, high or low blood pressure, or any other medical condition, or are taking medication.
Stop exercising and seek medical attention if you experience chest pain, dizziness, faintness or any pain that is not ordinary muscular effort.
Formyx includes safety limits — it refuses targets below a healthy body-mass index, caps how fast it will let you lose weight, and will not set a calorie goal below established floors. These limits are a safety net, not a guarantee of safety for you specifically. Only a professional who knows your history can tell you that.
You use Formyx at your own risk, and you are responsible for what you do with the information it gives you.
4. Accuracy
Formyx estimates. It does not measure.
- Photo analysis is an estimate. The app sends your meal photo to an AI model, which guesses what the food is and how much of it there is. It is often close and sometimes wrong. Check the numbers before you rely on them, and correct them when they are off.
- Barcode data comes from Open Food Facts, an open community database. Entries are contributed by the public and may be incomplete, outdated or incorrect.
- Calorie and macronutrient targets come from published formulas that estimate an average. Real metabolisms vary; the app cannot know yours.
- Weight projections are estimates, not promises. Progress is not linear, and the app says so where it shows them.
We do not warrant that any figure the app produces is accurate.
5. Your account
You are responsible for keeping your password secure and for everything that happens under your account. Tell us at support@getformyx.com if you believe someone else has access to it.
Provide accurate information about yourself. The app's calculations are only as good as what you tell it, and an inaccurate height or weight produces an inaccurate — and potentially unsafe — target.
One account per person. Do not share your account with anyone else.
6. Subscription and payment
Formyx is a paid app with a free trial.
The free trial. New users receive a 7-day free trial. You will not be charged during the trial. If you do not cancel before it ends, your subscription begins automatically and the plan you selected is charged.
Billing. Subscriptions are billed through the App Store or Google Play, not by us directly. Payment is charged to your Apple ID or Google account at confirmation of purchase.
Automatic renewal. Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the current period ends. Renewal is charged within 24 hours before the period ends, at the price for the plan you selected.
Cancelling. You cancel through your app store, not inside Formyx:
- iPhone: Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Formyx → Cancel Subscription
- Android: Google Play → profile icon → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → Formyx → Cancel
Deleting the app does not cancel your subscription. You will continue to be charged until you cancel through your app store.
Refunds are handled by Apple and Google under their own policies, not by us. If you bought through the App Store, request a refund from Apple; through Google Play, from Google.
Price changes. If the price of your subscription changes, you will be told in advance and the change will only take effect at your next renewal. You may cancel before then.
7. What you may not do
Do not:
- Use Formyx if you are under 18
- Reverse-engineer, decompile or attempt to extract the app's source code, keys or credentials
- Use automated means to access the service, or attempt to overwhelm it
- Resell, sublicense or redistribute access to the app
- Upload content that is unlawful, or that infringes someone else's rights
- Attempt to access another user's account or data
We may suspend or close an account that breaks these rules.
8. Ownership
The app, its design, its text and its underlying software belong to Ufuk Gökoğlan. Using Formyx gives you a personal, non-transferable licence to use it — it does not transfer any ownership.
Your data remains yours. We claim no ownership over the meals, weights, workouts or photos you record. You grant us only the permission needed to store that data and to operate the features you use, including sending meal photos for analysis as described in the Privacy Policy.
Exercise data used in the app comes from open datasets under their respective licences.
9. Availability
Formyx depends on services that are not ours — a database provider, an AI provider, a food database, your app store. Any of them can be interrupted, and so can we.
We do not guarantee that the app will be available without interruption, that it will be free of errors, or that any specific feature will remain available. Features may change or be removed as the app develops.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Formyx is provided "as is" and without warranties of any kind.
Ufuk Gökoğlan is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for loss of data, arising from your use of the app. Where liability cannot be excluded by law, it is limited to the amount you paid for the app in the twelve months before the claim arose.
Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded — and if you are a consumer, your statutory rights are not affected by these terms.
11. Ending your use
You may stop using Formyx at any time by deleting your account in Profile → Settings → Delete account. Deleting your account does not cancel your subscription — cancel that through your app store first (section 6).
We may close your account if you break these terms, or if we stop operating the service. If the service is discontinued, you will be given reasonable notice and the opportunity to export your data.
12. Changes to these terms
These terms will change as the app changes. When they do materially, the date at the top is updated and you will be told inside the app. Continuing to use Formyx after a change means you accept the updated terms.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye. If you are a consumer resident in the European Union or the United Kingdom, this does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory consumer laws of your country of residence.
